Description
There is a lot of controversial about military Rolex and Tudor watches. When people are looking for provenance they may as well look on the moon….. IE sometimes impossible to find. This particular example is a mid seventies snowflake that was obtained from a sniper in the Canadian military. There is a personal inscription on the rear casebook which can be shared with the new owner. Now down to the details of the watch. The dial is phenomenal and I don’t think I have seen better. The hands appear to be original Tudor hands but possibly mismatched shades of patina at some point by a watchmaker in a rush or low on replacement parts. The case is super sharp and unpolished and shows various battle scars as this watch was used as a true tool watch. The movement is running strong and keeping excellent time however the last service is unknown – sold on a new nato – the old one was falling apart.
