excellent example of the transitional matte dial 16800 Submariner date.  The dial and hands are excellent and have developed a nice heavy cream patina.  The case is sharp and unpolished with clearly defined beveled lugs.  The bezel is sharp and the insert has faded to a deep brown tone with dark amber pearl.  The bracelet is original and has no stretch.  The movement is running strong and keeping excellent time however last service is unknown.  Comes with box, papers, both booklets.  a nice set hard to come by these days in such condition
