for those who dont recognize this 36mm beauty, think of this as the beginning of the thought of the 1016 which would come later,. This Rare rolex Ref 5504 Explorer Super Precision made circa 1959 as mach harder to come by than its predecessor. The silver print gilt dial is super glossy and in excellent condition with zinc sulfide original lume and the hands are original as well. . The case is in excellent vintage condition possibly lightly detailed in the past with clear ref and serial numbers between the lugs. The movement is just back from service and running perfectly. Sold on a leather strap with rolex emblemed buckle.
