A true blue beauty 16808 in 18k. The starburst nipple dial is fantastic showing no visible wear and also changes color from blue to purple depending on the angle. The case is likely never polished and shows only wear from use but thick lugs and crown guard is a good indicator on these - note a lot of people for some reason believe that a 16808 should have large bevels and in fact this is untrue. We had the pleasure of having a never worn example and while examining it noticed hardly any chamfers at all - we decided to leave this case as is which some may seem to think soft looking however in reality with a gold watch this is how it should look. The bracelet is original and fully linked (12 links) 18k yellow gold Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age and the buckle is unpolished and fully visible. The movement winds smoothly and is running strong and keeping excellent time.
